When is the office open?

Office hours are 9 am to 9 pm daily.

What are check in and check out times?

Check in time is 3 pm

Check out time is 11 am

We do not guarantee early check in or late check out times but you are welcome to spend the day on the property or have us hold your luggage until your room is ready.

What is the Late check in procedure?

If you plan to arrive after 9 pm, you will need to send a copy of your credit card and valid government ID, front and back to the hotel. You can text them to the owner, Alex Kienle, at 561-573-5587 or email them to info@SeaStepsSuites.com.

Around 9 pm, the office staff will send you detailed instructions through email (if you booked direct) or your on line booking system (like Expedia or booking.com). The instructions will include your room number, the box code and a few other details you may need. If you need to connect to WiFi to get your email once you get to the hotel, you can use the password 717ocean to connect to any Wifi on our property which will be SeaStepsSuitesGuest or RonnyDee.

What is the early or express check out procedure?

To check out if you are leaving outside office hours or you just want to check out without visiting the office, you can leave your key in the room, put the "please make up this room" sign on the door and text your room number and "I'm checking out" to 561-573-5587.

What are the pet fees and rules?

Pets stay free. We don't charge a deposit or any fee to have a domestic, legal pet on our property. We don't have a lot of rules about them except that owners take full responsibility for them. We do normally remove our comforters and decorative pillows from the beds when a pet is in residence but you can request we leave them or request extra blankets.

Do you serve food or alcohol at the hotel?

We do not have any food or alcohol services at the hotel but there are many great selections within walking distance. Hotel staff would be happy to give you recommendations upon check in.

Can you help me book a room?

We do not handle reservations by email or chat. You can look at our web site for rates and availability or we can talk by phone. Our numbers are below and so is the web address. Can you help me cancel a room?

You can cancel by phone directly with the hotel if you booked directly but if you booked through a third party site like Expedia, you must cancel directly with them.

Can you quote me Rates or check availability for me?

We offer the same rates whether you book directly with us or on line through our web site or any other site. All availability shown is in real time and accurate. During off season, we will offer a small discount if reservation is made directly with us or through our web site. Our cancellation policies are slightly more lenient if the reservation is made directly with us. Please call for more information.

Which room am I in?

We do not guarantee any particular room assignment until arrival since we have to accommodate all the reservations that come in and our first priority is to have the same guest stay in the same room for their entire stay. What Free services do you offer?

We offer free parking, WiFi, guest laundry, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards and coffee supplies subject to availability. These items are subject to availability and no refunds or adjustments will be made should any item become unavailable for any length of time.

Are Extra beds or people allowed in the rooms?

We do not allow extra beds in any rooms. All of the rooms have maximum occupancies based on the bed configurations and size of the room. We do not charge extra for having the maximum number of people in the room.

Do you offer Airport transportation?

We do not offer transportation to or from the airport. Many guests use Uber and Lyft which are demand based services. We have noticed fees starting around $25 and going up from there, but we cannot guarantee or quote any pricing. A typical shuttle would cost $95 and a taxi would cost somewhere in between.

How far are you from the Ft. Lauderdale Airport?

18 miles which is a minimum of 30 minutes if there is no traffic.

How far are you from the cruise ship terminal?

18 miles which is a minimum of 30 minutes if there is no traffic.

What's in the room?

Hotel room with refrigerator:
Bed(s), all bed linens, refrigerator, chair, desk, night stand(s), dresser, lamps, bath towels, mats wash cloths and hand towels, pod coffee maker (coffee by request from front office), 2 coffee cups, ice bucket, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. We do not put microwaves in these rooms. There is no carpeting in any rooms.

Hotel room with kitchenette, studio, apartment:
Everything in hotel room with refrigerator plus kitchen items including a refrigerator, small stove or induction hot plate, pots and pans, toaster, microwave, enough plates, bowls, silverware and glassware for each person allowable in the room. The kitchen will also have a wine bottle opener, scissors, spatula, mixing spoon, kitchen towels, and pot holders.

Can I receive packages while at the hotel?

The office does not accept US mail or packages on behalf of any guests. You can have packages delivered to your room while you are in residence at the hotel. We do not hold packages in the office. Packages that arrive at the office will be denied.

Can you tell me about the pool?

The pool is heated to 87 degrees year round. It works on a salt system so it is always clear and clean. We provide pool towels and there is ample space to sit by the pool in lounge chairs in the shade and the sun.

Can you tell me about the courtyard?

Our courtyard has many amenities for which we do not charge. All amenities are subject to availability. We offer lounge chairs, pool towels, picnic tables and chairs, charcoal grills (bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid), grilling accessories, shade umbrellas, some outdoor games (ask at the office). We also have an extensive butterfly garden and music system (ask at the office).

Policies, Terms & Conditions

Age requirement policy
Guest must be 18 years or older with valid government identification and acceptable credit card to reserve and check into the hotel.

Connecting room policy
There are a limited number of king or queen bedded rooms that connect to rooms with two double beds. Connecting rooms cannot be guaranteed prior to arrival; however, all efforts will be made to accommodate connecting requests at check-in.

Early departure policy
No refunds will be given for early departure without written prior consent of owners. If something is broken or goes wrong, please inform the office immediately so we can solve the problem. Checking out does not guarantee a refund.

ADA policy
The hotel is compliant with the Americans with disabilities act. ADA compliant guest rooms are available. For more information, please contact the hotel directly.

Alcohol policy
Alcoholic beverage consumption is restricted to those 21 years or older with valid identification.

Free items policy

Special event policy
The hotel may enforce special event policies over high demand dates such as some holidays, sporting events, annual festivals, or other citywide events. Event policies can include pre-payment/non-cancelable requirements for room reservations, restricted access to/from the hotel, and very limited parking. Please contact the hotel directly to inquire further about these policies.

Package handling policy

Pet policy
Pets are allowed in all rooms. No deposit is required. Rooms will be evaluated upon departure. Fees may be incurred if excessive cleaning is deemed necessary or if pet has done damage to the room or contents.

Pool policy
Our outdoor pool is available for guest use year-round between the hours of 8am and 10pm. No life guard is on duty during hours of operation. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Smoking policy
The hotel rooms are 100% smoke free. There are designated smoking areas outside of building. A $50 cleaning fee will be charged to the guest’s account should smoking occur anywhere inside the facility.

Credit/debit card policy
Debit and credit cards will be charged at check-in for the amount of your stay and kept on file for incidentals, damage or theft.

Payment policy
Full payment is required at the time of check in through an accepted method of payment. Rooms not prepaid are not guaranteed until reservation confirmation. All reservations must be accompanied by a valid credit or debit card regardless of payment type. Valid government issued ID matching reservation name and credit or debit card is required.

Cancellation policy
Cancellations:

We strive to accommodate our guests' requests for specific rooms and dates of stay. So, if you book a room, we can't give that room to someone else and we are counting on you to come and stay with us. It's also possible that we turned someone else down for that same room. If you need to cancel, please email or call us as soon as you can and we will gladly and cheerfully cancel your reservation subject to cancellation policy.

We charge 100% of rate and taxes within 48 hours of check in date.
We charge 100% of rate and taxes for no shows.

December 15 - April 15
Free cancellation 7 days prior to check in date.

We charge 100% of rate and taxes for no shows.
